Getting it through airport security
The bottle counts as a liquid container only when there is liquid in it. Fly with it empty and fill it after the checkpoint or at your hotel.
These are limited to travel-sized containers that are 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) or less per item.
Both HappyPo sizes are larger than that limit, so neither may pass the checkpoint full. Empty, the Original weighs about 3.5 ounces. The final call at the checkpoint belongs to the officer.

Using it away from home
- Fill at the sink before you sit down. Hotel taps run warm after a few seconds.
- In a public restroom, fill the bottle at the basin and carry it into the stall.
- On the road, a bottle of drinking water refills it. Cold water works. It is only less pleasant.
- Shake the bottle dry, pull the nozzle off and pack the two parts apart so they air out.
What it will not do on a trip
- It does not heat water. In a cold climate, fill from the warm tap.
- The cap sits tight. Open it by the coloured body, not by the nozzle.
- A full bottle in a packed bag can press open. Travel with it empty.
